Classical Massage - it is the best known type of massage. It can be therapeutic, relaxing or stimulating depending on the needs of the client. It uses a combination of five techniques.
  • stroking
  • rubbing
  • kneading
  • tapping
  • vibrating
This massage promotes general health and well-being, decreases muscle tension and improves circulation.

Deep Tissue Massage - this type of massage is aimed at the deeper layers of muscle and fascia. It uses many of the movements of classical massage but the pressure is more intense in order to release chronic muscle tension of knots. It helps with chronic muscular pain and injury rehabilitation and reduces inflammation-related pain caused by arthritis and tendonitis.

Rehabilitation Massage - it is a form of a therapeutic massage combined with various rehabilitation techniques used in the treatment of injuries.

Segmentary Massage - this massage has a long tradition in Germany. In this massage the spine is divided into segments - each segment is related to the lungs and bronchial tubes). The treatment is used to detect imbalances in the internal organs before illness manifests when appropriate referrals may be necessary. Subsequent treatments boost the immune system's ability to restore balance. It can be used as a prophylactic treatment also.

Joint Massage - this kind of massage is used in the rehabilitation of joints, capsules and ligaments.

Therapeutic Massage - this massage uses the techniques of classical massage (the names classical and therapeutic are often used interchangeably) to threat specific disorders such as sciatica, low back pain etc.

Relaxation Massage - the aim of this massage is to relax the client and promote general health and well-being.

Isometric Massage - this type of massage aids in the restoration of muscle mass and strength and helps loosen joints restrictions. It is used for muscle wastage due to the injuries, surgery or lengthy convalescences.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage - is a procedure aimed at stimulating the body's lymphatic system and speeds the elimination of waste and toxins.

Facial Massage - is a very relaxing massage which improves the condition of the skin and muscles of the face. Over time it can reduce the appearance of wrinkles and improve the contours of the face.

Hot and Cold Compresses as well as aromatherapy oils and creams may be used to increase the efficacy of the various treatments.

Acupressure - uses the fingers to press key points on the surface of the skin to stimulate the body's natural self-curative abilities. When These points are pressed, they release muscular tension and promote the circulation of blood and the body's life force to aid healing. Acupuncture and acupressure use the same points, but acupuncture employs needles, while acupressure uses the gentle, but firm pressure of hands. Acupressure can be effective in helping relieve headaches, eye strain, sinus problems, neck pain, backaches, arthritis, muscle aches, tension due to stress, ulcer pain, menstrual cramps, lower backaches, constipation, and indigestion.
